Last week we headed to San Francisco to visit Jennifer’s sister, Heidi.  It was really fun to get away for an entire week and just relax, a much needed vacation.  Jennifer will post pictures on the family blog site so don’t forget to check it out.  I’ll post here a couple of pictures that I took during the trip, I hope you like them.  We did a little of everything, including whale watching which was incredible.  The entire week went by really fast and we had to come back home before we knew it.

We are excited that it’s getting warmer now. Alexia loves to be outside so we’ll be buying a swing with a slide pretty soon, she loves to climb and slide on the one at the park. I am sure that once we do, Jennifer will have pictures on her blog.

About my recent pictures, I had the opportunity to photograph The Cure in concert, it was for the E-Center, I hope that they like them and call me back. I would work as a backup photographer for events, I was very nervous but it was a great learning experience.

Well, things are going good. I work for a company called Alianza, they provide VoIP services for Service Providers. It’s a great company to work for and it has a great potential.

Jennifer has been enjoying being a stay-at-home mom and playing with Alexia, we are blessed that she can do that. Time has been flying, Alexia is already 18 months and we enjoy every second of it. I love to come home and see her smiling and waiting for hugs and kisses…but if I wait to long to hug her, she gets upset and walks away (but she can never stay upset too long, she’s a daddy’s girl).

Let’s see, I purchased a Nikon D300 and I love it. The latest pictures were taken with that one, it’s much sharper than the D80 (personal opinion), now I just need a better lens.

Alexia’s birthday was great! We had a small get-together with our family to celebrate Alexia’s first birthday, Jennifer did a great job with the dinner and the decorations (even balloons), I did an excellent job bringing the cake home (hey, there is no birthday without cake) :).

Holy Cow! It feels like lately I’ve been flying a lot. Twice in 2 weeks I’ve gone to Toronto. It makes me miss Alexia and Jennifer a lot! Everytime without fail I see a baby and long to see Alexia, she’s so much fun. Her laughter is contagious and is a daddy’s girl …I don’t mind at all. She’s such a good baby! We are very lucky to have her.

This Friday we’ll have her 1st birthday, it’s very exciting! I will be back from a trip on Thursday so I feel bad for Jennifer since she’ll be doing most of the preparations. I’ll try to help as much as I can on Friday. I’ll be posting pictures soon.

Got tired of the first design so I am trying WordPress, maybe it will be easier to manage.  Mostly I’ll just post pictures of everything that I take with my trusty Nikon D80.
